User Agreement
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. Scope
This User Agreement sets out the rules for using the Veloseller service (the “Service”). It applies to everyone who uses the Service, on a paid plan or during the trial period.
Financial terms — subject matter, pricing, payment, automatic (recurring) payments, refunds and price changes — are NOT covered here: they are set out in full in the Terms of Service. Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. Where this Agreement and the Terms of Service differ on financial terms, the Terms of Service prevail.
2. Account
- The Service is intended for businesses: sole traders, companies and self-employed professionals.
- Registration data must be accurate. An account belongs to one person; sharing access is at the user’s own risk.
- Passwords and access tokens are kept by the user. Actions taken under an account are treated as the user’s own until the user reports the loss of access.
- An account can be deleted in settings. Paid invoices are retained as accounting records, as required by law.
3. Permitted use
The Service is intended for analysing inventory, sales and purchasing of the user’s own business. Within the limits of the active plan, users may use all features, export their own data, connect warehouses and marketplaces, and use the API within its rate limits.
4. Prohibited use
- Attempting to access other users’ data, or to bypass plan limits, API limits or access checks.
- Creating load that degrades the Service for others: automated polling beyond the limits, bulk account creation.
- Copying, decompiling or reproducing the Service or its parts, or reselling access to it without written consent.
- Uploading data the user has no rights to, or using the Service for anything unlawful.
5. User data and marketplace access
Users connect their own warehouses and marketplace access tokens. These are used solely to retrieve the user’s data and provide the Service, and are not shared with third parties.
Data uploaded by a user remains that user’s data. It is processed to operate the Service and, in anonymised and aggregated form, to improve the product. Access can be withdrawn at any time by disconnecting a warehouse or deleting a token.
6. Ownership
All rights to the Service — its interfaces, algorithms, texts and design — belong to the provider. Users receive a right to use the Service, not rights in the Service itself.
7. Availability and changes
- The provider aims to keep the Service continuously available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
- Planned maintenance is carried out, where possible, during off-peak hours.
- Features evolve and may change or be replaced. A material reduction of features on a paid plan is grounds for recalculation under the Terms of Service.
- Marketplace data is retrieved through the marketplaces’ public and partner interfaces. Delays and outages on their side are outside the provider’s control.
8. Liability
The Service provides analytics and recommendations; decisions on purchasing, pricing and clearance are made by the user, who is responsible for them. The provider is not liable for lost profit or indirect damages. In any event, liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the last paid period.
9. Suspension
In case of a breach of section 4, access may be limited or terminated after notice — or, where the Service or other users’ data is at immediate risk, immediately, with notice to follow. Refunds in such cases are governed by the Terms of Service.
10. Changes to this Agreement
This Agreement may be updated. The current version is always available at /agreement, and the date of the last update is shown at the top. Continued use of the Service after a change means acceptance of the new version.
